Joan Marie Wilson

I am a veteran burn and wound clinician and researcher interested in seeking employment as a Life Care Planner. My 38-year career in burns and burn research has taken me from 11 years of bedside care of critical burn and complicated wound patients to the Director level in burn and wound research at the site and industry levels. I have established a credible reputation based on trustworthiness and a solid ethical ethos with notable clinicians across the US, Central America, and Europe. My passion is burn care and helping burn survivors, but as a seasoned nurse ready to move into another challenging area, I would like to help wherever my abilities work best. Through my research experiences, I have published many abstracts, articles, and one book chapter (pending). I have spent years coordinating research efforts and reviewing charts, journal publications, and medical literature to support data. These activities seem to align with what you might need at your company.

I will begin courses for certification in life care planning within a few weeks.
